This section sets out the requirements for self-supporting back walling, partition walls and rear-facing wall finishes where stands back onto neighbouring stands or perimeter walling.

All Space Only stands must provide their own self-supporting back walling where they back onto a neighbouring stand or perimeter walling. The minimum height of this back walling is 2.5m.

Any partition wall above 2.5m in height that overlooks neighbouring stands must be finished on the rear side with a plain white finish, without logos or branding.

Where there is no neighbouring stand adjoining the back wall, as a result of neighbouring stand movements at short notice or for any similar reason, the Exhibitor must finish the full back wall down to the ground. In such cases, the Exhibitor may, at the discretion of the Organisers, be permitted to apply branding.

Note

Exhibitors and Contractors are strongly encouraged to complete the rear finishing of partition walls and back walls as early as possible during the build-up period. As neighbouring stands are constructed, access to rear-facing wall surfaces may become restricted, potentially making it more difficult to complete finishing works safely and efficiently. This recommendation does not remove the requirement to fully finish all rear-facing wall surfaces in accordance with this regulation.
