Only water-based paints or adhesives may be used on site. Protective measures must be taken to ensure that no paint or adhesive is spilt or sprayed on to the fabric of the building including floors 

DECC flooring must be protected with coverings before any painting works can proceed, spray printing inside the Exhibition Halls is strictly prohibited at all times. 

Fabrics and materials treated with fire resistant solutions should not be over painted with water-based paints
