Work Machinery and Woodcutting

All work machinery and tools must be in good working condition and safe to use. 

Requirements 

  • Operatives must be competent to operate the equipment being used. 

  • Operatives must wear suitable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). 

  • Work equipment used during build-up and dismantling must bear the CE mark and be in perfect working order. 

  • Powered tools must not be left unattended while operating or connected to the power supply. 

  • All dangerous parts, including saw blades, must be suitably guarded. 

  • Protective devices must be used in cutting areas and around moving parts. 

Important: The Organisers reserve the right to prevent the use of any equipment considered unsafe.
