Rules & Regulations

Drones and other remote-controlled flying devices are not permitted within the venue without prior written authorisation from the Organiser and valid insurance coverage. Freely flying drones are strictly prohibited under all circumstances. 

Rules 

Any drone operated at the event must be enclosed within a secure enclosure (drone cage). The cage must: 

• Be constructed from durable materials such as netting, wire mesh, glass or similar. 
• Be structurally sound enough to fully contain the drone in the event of malfunction or loss of control. 
• Prevent any risk of injury or damage to people or property outside the cage. 

If the drone activity involves filming or photography, it must also comply with the Photography & Filming regulation. 

Advance approval 

Submit the Drone Application Form together with supporting documentation at least two months before the event.
