Rules & Regulations

Any activity involving a motorised or self-propelled vehicle, including motorcycles, scooters or similar, requires prior approval. 

Self-driving or autonomous vehicle demonstrations are not normally authorised. Any proposal involving a self-driving or autonomous vehicle will be reviewed by the Organiser on a case-by-case basis and will only be considered where the activity can be carried out safely within a clearly controlled area. 

Advance approval 

Submit the Special Activity Form describing the vehicle, the demonstration, the area of operation and the safety measures in place. 

On-site inspection 

The Health & Safety Team will inspect the activity on site and may require additional measures, restrict the activity, or prevent the activity from operating.
