Stand Vehicles on Event Days

Engine-driven vehicles, electric vehicles, mobility devices, vessels, machinery or similar equipment may only be displayed during the exhibition if a Stand Vehicle Form has been submitted and accepted by the applicable deadline. 

This section applies to vehicles or machinery displayed statically on a stand. It does not apply to moving demonstrations, autonomous vehicles, self-propelled demonstrations or robotic devices, which must be reviewed under the relevant activity rules. 

Technical requirements 

The following requirements apply to all vehicles displayed on stands: 

  • The fuel tanks of motor vehicles must contain only sufficient fuel to move the vehicle in and out of the hall. 
  • The fuel tanks on all other petrol engine equipment must be empty. 
  • The fuel tank must be sealed, wherever possible with a lockable cap. 
  • All vehicles must be provided with a drip tray. 
  • Vehicles must be positioned fully within the boundaries of the stand. Protrusions, doors, tail lifts or other vehicle elements must not infringe the stand perimeter. 
  • Running engines during the open period of the exhibition is strictly prohibited. 
  • Filling or emptying fuel tanks inside the hall is strictly prohibited at all times. 
  • Batteries must be disconnected. This does not apply to new cars with on-board computer systems. 

Delivery and collection 

It is advisable to deliver vehicles on the final days of build-up.  

Vehicle collection should ideally take place on the final show day between 16:00 and 18:00, when dismantling is starting and before gangways become blocked with storage items. 

Build-up procedure 

All stand vehicles must access the venue via the marshalling yard at Sot del Migdia. Vehicles going directly to the venue will not be granted access. 

Fira Barcelona and the Organisers do not accept responsibility for any damage to the vehicle, other items or stand construction during move-in or removal of the vehicle.
