Dismantling Conditions

Exhibitors and Contractors must leave the space in which they have built their stand clean and clear at the end of the dismantling period. This includes any carpet tape stuck to the hall floor.

At the end of dismantling, contractors must have their stand space inspected by a representative of the official Waste Patrol Team who will issue a waste removal 'Handover Certificate'.

Dismantling Information for Turnkey Packages

All items must be removed by Thursday 4 March at 22:00. These packages will all be dismantled on Friday 5 March. If you attached any graphics to your turnkey package please ensure these are removed and disposed of. Items not removed on Thursday 4 March will be included in Waste Removal resulting in a penalty charge, please click here to see the Waste Removal section for more information.

TIMELINE FOR ACCESS ON THURSDAY 4 MARCH 2027

16:00The event ends at 16:00. MWC Access (South) and 4YFN Access (North) close. 
Contractors will not be allowed to access the Venue until 18:00 in order to allow all visitors to leave and carpet to be removed from the gangways.
16:00 - 22:00Exhibitor Digital Access Pass Holders with extended hours can access via E1 Bunker Gate on Carrer de les Ciències or Gate 5 on Carrer de l'Alumini (for 4YFN).
17:00For safety reasons no trolleys should be used until all visitors have left the building.
The removal of carpet from the gangways will commence.
18:00 - 22:00Digital Contractor Pass Holders allowed to access the venue. Access points: 
E1 Bunker Gate on Carrer de les Ciències; CC2 Gate on Carrer de la Botànica; Gate 5 on Carrer de l'Alumini (for 4YFN).
Removal of valuable items begins.
22:00Venue empty of exhibitors and contractors.

Dismantling Period 4 - 9 March 2027

Important Information

  • For safety reasons, electricity to stands will be cut from 18:00 Thursday 4 March.
  • Exhibitors who require additional power supply for dismantling should contact mwcbarcelona@firabarcelona.com
  • No vehicles are allowed to circulate inside the halls. All items must be removed by hand.
  • Please ensure that personal and valuable items are removed on Thursday 4 March. The GSMA is not liable for any items left on your stand unattended. (Note: this time is designated only for the removal of audio-visual equipment, computers and other valuable items).
  • Valuable items can be removed by hand through the venue access points. Underground parking areas are available around the venue (Parking B & F max. vehicle height 2.10m), to allow loading of goods.
  • For external AV companies (not Fira official suppliers) that need to remove equipment on this day, please contact: mwcvehicleaccess@firabarcelona.com
  • Stand structures cannot be dismantled on Thursday 4 March. Stand structure dismantling commences on Friday 5 March.
  • Empty boxes that have been stored with Resa/Exhibition Freighting GSM will begin to be distributed. Due to the high quantity of empty boxes, we cannot guarantee that your boxes will be delivered to your stand until Friday 5 March. To maintain the security inside the halls the empty boxes will be delivered sequentially.
